The haul out and re-launch of a yacht is delicately carried out by our professional staff.
No matter if the vessel is a 70 ton ship, a luxurious motorboat or a lovely Folkboat; we handle each yacht with the knowledge of many years of experience and a specialised technical background.
The 20 ton travel-lift was built in this yard in 1986 and has since carried out about 10.000 haul out and launchings. The equipment is carefully maintained.
A new travel hoist rated 70 ton has been operational since 1998. This machine was built in our yard by our own staff and is designed according to FEM, the European norm for lifting equipment. The new travel-lift is able to accommodate beams up to 6,70 m.
After the haul out, the yachts are choked up with struts and are braced in accordance to practices accepted by our insurers .
We estimate the total number of yachts which have been stored in our yard to about 3.000.
The yachts in the yard and the work carried out through the yard is insured up to US$ 1.500.000 according to the Marina Operator's Liability Clause and the Boat Repairer's Responsibilities Clause.
It should be noted that this insurance covers not only the yard but also the vicinity of 100 nm around the yard.
